What has led to the success of this long-time family-owned business?
Our commitment to customer service and relationships is the reason for our continued success over 43 years. Loy Harn made a name for himself as Mount Pleasant’s go-to custom jeweler. His son Jason Harn continues the tradition with a focus on custom fine jewelry, engagement rings and repair.
What is the most rewarding part?
The most rewarding part is being a part of some of life’s biggest moments. Engagements, weddings, christenings, graduations, bereavements, birthdays and anniversaries are a few examples of the monumental moments that we get to be a part. Even when a client comes in because they lost a loved one, we cherish the opportunity to create something new from some of life’s hardest times. The relationships that we have created over the past four decades are, without a doubt, the best part.
What challenges have you faced?
We have been so fortunate to survive through big changes in the economy: the pandemic, the industry development and the countless other landscape changes over the years. The biggest challenge in recent memory is the Covid-19 pandemic. We thrive off the personal connection that is essential to what we do. During the pandemic we missed the daily comings and goings and are thankful that things are back to better than before.

We are most inspired by our clients’ creative design ideas and the opportunity to create custom pieces.
