I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit, even as a kid. I’ve experimented with many art-forms over the years, always dreaming of turning that passion into something I could share with others. This year, my dream came true.
I found endless inspiration along the Lowcountry shorelines. There is a quiet kind of beauty here that never feels the same twice. Walking along the beach- looking at the shells, sea glass, and sand dollars. I admired the way the tide reshapes everything overnight and I wanted to bring that same feeling to my creations.
That’s how Salt & Shell Studio began.
Sitting down with a collection of shells and seeing an idea slowly come to life never gets old. Some creations become paint palettes for fellow artists. Others become decorative trays, jewelry dishes, or pieces of home décor. Every shell is different, which means every design tells its own story.
I’m so blessed to live in a place like Mount Pleasant where people genuinely believe in supporting local businesses. Our community celebrates artists, makers, and dreamers- that encouragement was exactly what I needed to turn a lifelong passion into something real.
