yourself for the onslaught of buffoons and their hijinks by planning a little revenge with a few of our
favorite april Fools’ pranks this year. if, however, you are the type who would prefer to shed those
extra holiday pounds by exercising rather than laughing them off at your friend’s expense, jog over
to our Bridge Run recipe suggestions. these filling and deli-
cious dishes are sure to keep your heart pumping and your
taste buds happy. with friendly advice on high-carb, low-fat
meals and strategies to fight pre-race jitters, you can find
the perfect way to maintain your energy as you soar over the
Cooper River and blaze past the crowds of cheering supporters.
and, since april is national poetry Month, we will celebrate by collecting verse from east cooper
poets. get swept away in rhythm and rhyme and enjoy a moment with poetry from right in your own
backyard. who knew we had so much literary talent around here?
we also are sharing behind-the-scenes photos from charleston’s women’s show, as well as from
our March/april cover shoot. Both were a success and lots of fun.
