Lewis BBQ – Downtown Charleston

When I said I went to Lewis BBQ for lunch, friends and

colleagues were jealous. They all eagerly asked if I got the

brisket. Actually, I opted for the turkey, but I tasted both

and both were incredible. And though Charleston has its

share of barbecue joints, Lewis offers an authentic, Texas-

style take on a trend, plus a full bar with the most comfy

bar stools I’ve ever sat my rear end on.
