Loy Harn Jewelers
Loy Harn Jewelers Had a Humble
beginning when Loy Harn opened the doors in
February 1980. Loy quickly became a master of
his craft and built an incredible reputation and
following in Mount Pleasant.
Unfortunately, in 2002, Loy passed away suddenly and
the store was left to his son, Jason Harn, who was only
20 at the time. Jason is now married and has a 1-year-old
daughter and another daughter on
the way, due in May. He and his
wife, Keenan, attribute their success, and being awarded
Best Jeweler in Mount Pleasant, to getting the store back
to its roots of being a family jewelry store.
“We like for our customers to feel like family and for
them to know that they are in good hands. Loy built an
amazing reputation for the business, and we strive to
continue to provide our customers with a memorable
experience when they shop with us,” said Keenan.
The jewelry industry has evolved over the years, but Loy
Harn Jewelers has always operated as a fine jewelry retailer
and a full-service jewelry repair shop.
“Our main focus now, and the majority of the work
that we do, is custom jewelry design. We often have
customers come in with handfuls of inherited jewelry
that we will sort through, identify, repair and create
new pieces out of broken and outdated pieces. Custom
engagement and bridal pieces are also a large part of what
we do,” said Jason.
Loy Harn Jewelers is proud to be celebrating its 36th
year in business in Mount Pleasant this February. There
are many new and exciting things in store for this family
business in 2016.
