Stacey Heilman

Stacey is the kind of mother that

every woman wishes she could be.

She and Hudson have daily explora-

tions in Mount Pleasant and Isle of

Palms. They visit parks, beaches and

museums, where she incorporates her

love of teaching through creative play.

Stacey was an elementary art

teacher prior to becoming a full-time

mother. Her love of art is evident

each and every day. They may build

sand castles and draw pictures on the

beaches in the morning and explore

parks and wildlife in the afternoons.

They love to read books and visit the

library for various children’s pro-

grams. I am proud of the wonderful

woman and mother she is.

I love my mother because she gave me unconditional love, taught me the

importance of independence and cooperation and modeled values that were

never self-serving. Without her support, I would not be the woman I am today.

She embodied strength, perseverance and dedication. I lost her and there is not

a day that dawns that I don’t miss her.
