Sunday 2 p.m. Screenings.
Braly decided to bring Cinebarre to Mount Pleasant for several
reasons: the friendliness of the people, the help and cooperation of
the town government and the location near the ocean. A believer
in giving back to his community, Braly has already instituted a pro-
gram that includes a mobile screen which shows a summer series of
films at Mount Pleasant Waterfront Park. The same mobile theater
has showed the Christmas film “Elf ” at Dunes West and provided
special screenings in downtown Charleston’s Marion Square.
What do Cinebarre customers think of the cinema-eatery
concept? Unsolicited opinions include: “Wonderful concept, eating
while you watch a movie on the big screen. I was skeptical of what
the food/drink quality might be and was pleasantly surprised”;
“The whole experience is fun. Food is good. And you get to watch a
movie, too”; and “I love visiting Mount Pleasant and getting to go
to Cinebarre!”
Feedback of this sort brings a smile to Braly’s face. As he put it,
“We’re not just a movie theater. We’re not just a restaurant. We’re a
total entertainment experience.”
The Cinebarre in Mount Pleasant can
