Relish Distinctive Catering: Setting the Scene for Romance

Posted by MPM Leave a Comment

Relish Distinctive CateringWith its majestic oaktree-lined plantations, beautiful beaches and historic charm, Charleston exudes romance, so it comes as no surprise that the wedding industry is booming in nearby Mount Pleasant. In fact, Charleston was recently named in Travel & Leisure magazine as one of the World’s Top Ten Most Romantic Cities. It’s one of the most popular wedding destinations in the country, so it should also come as no shock that new wedding venues are opening up in Mount Pleasant to accommodate the area’s burgeoning bridal scene.

One such impressive new wedding venue is the spacious Thomas Lynch Hall, co-owned by Relish Distinctive Catering and Dunes West and located at 3003 Dunes West Blvd. in Mount Pleasant. The venue can hold up to 350 guests, which is pretty special, since many places that host indoor weddings are much smaller, according to Lacy Davidson, Relish Distinctive Catering’s event coordinator and sales catering manager.

“Thomas Lynch Hall is beautiful, and I am particularly excited to show off the size of this venue,” said Davidson. “Not many venues in this area can accommodate an event that large.”

And Davidson would know. She has more than 20 years of event coordination experience and has been with Relish Distinctive Catering since its inception in 2005.

Thomas Lynch Hall is available for weddings, private parties, corporate events, rehearsal dinners and more, and another plus is that it offers ample parking. Davidson is confident that “once word gets out about Thomas Lynch Hall, it will book up fast.”

Relish offers full-service event catering that includes access to customizable menus and bar packages. It’s an exceptional value, according to Davidson, because their exclusive venues – RiverTowne and Snee Farm Country Club – include chairs, tables, white linens, china, glassware and flatware at no additional cost. Relish is able to provide some of these items (linens, china, glassware and flatware) at most other venues as well.

Relish is already a preferred vendor for Charleston’s most popular wedding venues, including Magnolia Plantation and The Pavilion at Patriots Point, and now you can add Thomas Lynch Hall to that list. Relish is also equipped to handle receptions, rehearsal dinners and bridal luncheons at virtually any Charleston area location that allows outside catering.

If you are planning an event and would relish the opportunity to learn more about Thomas Lynch Hall, an open house is scheduled for later this year. Interested parties can follow Relish on Facebook @RelishDistinctiveCatering for venue news and updates.

Not sure whether Thomas Lynch Hall is right for your event? Visit www.relishdistinctivecatering.com to learn more about the Relish team and their favorite local venues. Davidson also is available for private tours. She can be reached at 843-849-2412.
