MT. PLEASANT, SC – Butcher & the Boar, located in Mt. Pleasant, is thrilled to announce that they will be celebrating their one-year anniversary this week. Despite the temporary closures due to the hurricanes last fall and the impacts of COVID-19, the restaurant is grateful to be open and is planning to celebrate this achievement.
To commemorate this milestone, the staff from Butcher & the Boar will be serving a complimentary lunch to all the Mt. Pleasant Roper St. Francis heroes at the hospital from 11:30-1:30 on Tuesday, September 15th. Approximately, 250 employees will be served a picnic style lunch on the Hospital’s courtyard, outside of the Hospital’s cafeteria.
Since re-opening in May, the team at Butcher & the Boar has been following and exceeding all CDC guidelines to keep all guests safe during curbside pick-up and while dining on the patio or inside the restaurant.
Through all the challenges, the owner says it is all the customer support that is allowing them to keep the doors open at all. “We love being a part of this community and feel so thankful for all the customers who have walked through our doors giving us their support, and for trusting us to protect their health and safety. We are proud of our team members for committing themselves to high standards to deliver exceptional, safe service.” Doug Van Winkle, owner
