Josh and Cynthia Feldman
Tenacious. That is the word to describe this blended Mount Pleasant family. Everything they do is done with intent and follow-through, whether at home or in the workplace. Working hard or playing hard, the wheels underneath this family keep turning because of a unique mindfulness. And they do it together — not as separate moving parts but as one body.
The Feldmans attribute their successes to putting the marriage first, then attacking any issues together. That’s how Josh has become one of the leading mortgage loan specialists in the area, and Cynthia has thrived as the owner of Sweetgrass Pharmacy and Compounding, while the five children have enjoyed successes of their own. Some of those achievements include the eldest, Sofia, joining the Israeli Army, and her brother, Hunter, completing an apprenticeship with Boeing.
When a family is seen from afar working together to complete goals and is thriving at every turn, it’s hard to imagine how it works. How does everyone keep moving forward?
Cynthia Feldman said, “Our relationship is top priority, and if we keep that in focus, everything falls into place.”
The Feldmans maintain that it isn’t about rigid structures but about committing to goals. They make time for achievement and adventure. However, there is no guilt about working hard.
Feldman added, “Also, remember—as a parent, even when you are at work, you are teaching your children what hard work looks like and what it takes to find success.”
