Selby has always loved photography but worked another job for almost a decade before shifting her focus. With heaps of encouragement from family, friends and colleagues, she decided to fully commit to photography and launch her business. She now says she’s “living a dream I didn’t even know was possible.” Selby’s passion for her craft is evident in all her work and her personal touch provides clients with a luxury experience and an unmatched finished product.
Winning the Best Of in two categories (Best Family Photographer and Best Portrait Photographer) is an honor. “Winning the Best Of means the energy and work we’ve put into building our company and creating a one-of-a-kind, luxury experience has been worth it. Selby says her inspiration comes from learning her clients’ stories and unique personalities, and she sees it as a privilege to be able to express their strength and professionalism through pictures. She said, “They’ve put in the hustle and it’s awesome to capture that hard work in their professional shots.” Her aim is to give everyone a photo of themselves that they truly like. “I’m most proud of happy clients and for some of them being able to give them the first photo they have ever liked of themselves.”
