In terms of fashion, tweens reside in the in-between. They’re neither little kids nor adults, and finding clothes that work for them can be a challenge. But have no fear, parents. There’s a place where you can bring your tween boys and girls for tasteful, appropriate styles.
Southern Belles isn’t just for babies and toddlers anymore. Owner Susie Molony has created a cool spot for tween girls called Suite J.
“Suite J from last year to now has expanded,” said Molony. “Parents are looking for looks that are stylish but not overboard. We have Gabby, Poppet & Fox and Pleat, which is one of my favorite lines. She’s a new small business designer and I love supporting her.”
Tween boys have their own spot in the store as well. The boys’ look is clean-cut, preppy Southern with a twist, featuring brands like Brown Bowen and Johnnie-O.
When you enter Southern Belles, you’ll know Molony comes from fashion with over 30 years’ experience designing her collections, becoming a store buyer, studying fabrics and textiles and owning her own store. Her sophisticated look and eye for style make Southern Belles one-of-a-kind.
