Winning one of Mount Pleasant’s Best Of awards year after year proves a company’s integrity, alignment and work ethic and demonstrates their value in a tight-knit community. Aqua Blue Pools is among this elite company and worthy of all the praise and recognition.
Clint Fore, president of Aqua Blue Pools, whose company consistently ranks in Best Of, said, “We wouldn’t be where we are without the Mount Pleasant Community. We are thankful for the support that’s helped us grow to become the largest pool company in the area, relative to the number of pools Aqua Blue has installed and maintained since the company started in 1991.” Fore said, “What sets us apart is our persistence to make clients satisfied no matter what. If there is ever a concern, we always make it right.”
Another reason Aqua Blue Pools has become so successful is that their salespeople consult with the client so that they can really understand the emotional reason why they want a pool. Without uncovering the real reason, its value is diminished. During discovery, they ask as many questions as needed to uncover specifics such as purpose and utilization. They also talk through the design process, which depends on the client’s vision. Some know exactly what they want, while others don’t yet have a vision or find it difficult to see. Either way, they walk the property together, review pool sizes in the yard, discuss pool depth, primary usage and features that the client may be interested in.
Fore noted that once they learn what the client is looking to achieve, they move forward into the design scope and delve as deep as is necessary. As they transition from design to contract, construction and ongoing maintenance, their goal is to have clear communication and well-defined expectations.
“We do everything we can to build a relationship with our clients,” Fore continued. “It’s not just about profit; it’s about ensuring we are the right fit for each other and building a long-term relationship. A significant part of our business comes from repeat customers including builders and landscape architects, so collaboration and consistency are vital.”
At the core of Aqua Blue is its team. Resilience is important, so they expect their employees to have the ability to adapt in this ever-evolving world. Work ethic and trust are also critical values to have in this business. The more transparent they are with each other, the more aligned they will be on a path to succeed.
“Title is one thing, but what you do is what really speaks,” Fore noted. “I grew up in the pool industry, digging trenches, working in project management, construction, service, scheduling and as sales manager. I can help wherever and whenever needed, with whatever department needs assistance. I do what I have to do to keep our customers and employees in alignment with overall goals and expectations.”
Fore added, “The best projects are the ones that work perfectly in the space and for the right reasons. This is where we truly align with our clients.”
