Being voted “The Best of Mount Pleasant” is a true accomplishment; one that Will and Lindsay Flynn of Flynn Custom Builders accepted graciously and with great pride. They were recently voted “The Best Custom Home Builder” of the Mount Pleasant area. This dynamic duo began their side business in 2018 by taking on small renovation projects. Will’s desire, however, ran deeper. He knew he had more to offer and through his 20 years of building and work experience, could prove to have a positive impact on others and offer an unparalleled commitment to excellence. By his side, as a CPA with 19 years of construction experience herself, his wife complements his abilities. Their combined expertise creates the perfect team.
A direct result of skills coupled with passion, the business quickly grew from something small and promising to a full-time custom home and renovation company. It could be asked, what sets Flynn Custom Builders apart? As owner, Will oversees all day-to-day operations of the build, ensuring he maintains a close personal connection with each client. He is also the primary project manager, making sure their clients are fully satisfied at every turn. He is readily available and ensures it his mission to provide a seamless and carefree experience. One glance at a Flynn Custom Home offers you insight into exactly how precise and attentive to detail he is. Catering to the dreams of each individual and piecing together their new build or renovation not only drives him to excel, but is what sets them apart. Their goal is to guarantee that no two Flynn homes are alike. Each build is as custom and unique as the client for whom they are building.
In addition to the skill set they bring to their business operations, Will and Lindsay are both incredibly generous with their time and abilities, and enjoy giving back to their community. Will has consistently helped with exterior projects and repairs at the Windwood Farm boys’ home of Awendaw as well and the couple has donated much needed resources and supplies to Hurricane Helene relief efforts in the Carolinas. Additionally, they are active in the Whiteside Elementary School’s PTA, routinely sponsoring the school’s annual Color Run fundraiser, as well as providing food for families in need at Thanksgiving and gifts through East Cooper Community Outreach’s Christmas efforts. Community outreach is an integral part of who they are both personally and professionally. They are reminded daily that they are fulfilling their calling by their ability to help build their community up in more ways than one. All praise for their own efforts aside, they thank their clients and referrals, not only for trusting them with their vision, but for the faith they place in Flynn Custom Builders by voting them as Best of Mount Pleasant. They hope to continue to excel and make their mark in the Mount Pleasant community, one design at a time.
