East Cooper is best partied under an October night sky that would bring a tear to Neil Young’s eye. Memories were made in the moonlight at this year’s Best of Mount Pleasant Party.
We rolled out the red carpet for winners and guests to access the historic grounds of the newly renovated Alhambra Hall in Mount Pleasant’s quaint Old Village. Jazz music filled the air as droves of people arrived at Mount Pleasant Magazine’s annual extravaganza.
The event honored the 2025 Best of Mount Pleasant winners, bringing together top local businesses, loyal readers and town leaders for an unforgettable night of networking and recognition. Guests were treated to a true taste of the Lowcountry with a classic oyster roast, mouthwatering Southern barbecue, pimento cheese sandwiches, mac and cheese and refreshing cocktails.
But this festive occasion offered more than just good food and drinks. The atmosphere buzzed with energy thanks to live entertainment, including a talented saxophonist, a high-energy DJ, a sommelier and fun, interactive activities like photo booths, axe throwing and cornhole. It provided the perfect blend of elegance and leisure, surrounded by marsh views and historic charm.
Attendees mingled with award-winning business owners and the very people who make Mount Pleasant such a vibrant, supportive community. It was a night of connection, celebration and shared pride in all things local. And yes, indeed, there was plenty of dancing in the moonlight.
