Tidewater Pharmacy hit its 10-year mark this summer, and right as everyone was taking a breath and looking back on how far they’d come, the team learned they’d been voted Best Of in several categories. It’s one thing to work hard behind the scenes every day, but it’s something else entirely to have the community shout out praise. That kind of recognition is both humbling and encouraging at the same time.
Their growth over the years hasn’t been guided by big marketing pushes or gimmicks, it’s been driven by simple conversations with the people who walk through their doors. Customers kept asking for better supplements, peptides they could trust and compounds that didn’t take forever to get. Tidewater listened and expanded. Community feedback informed them that people were tired of keeping up with two or three pharmacies. The team made it a goal to become that all-in-one spot where everything could be handled without the hassle. That includes everything from custom compounds to a basic refill.
What makes Tidewater feel different is the old-fashioned neighborhood shop vibe. They don’t rush customers. They explain things and look for solutions rather than shying away from tough situations. They’re honest about whether they can help with an issue and if they can’t, are more than willing to point you toward someone who can.
Their ties to the community run deep and include supporting schools, collaborating with local businesses, joining health events and giving local vendors space to shine. Tidewater Pharmacy isn’t just a pharmacy but a group of people who truly care about others.
