Bowman Overpass – April 2012 – Mount Pleasant, SC

The new Bowman Road overpass was opened to the public on Sunday, April 15 at 9 a.m. Editors Brian Sherman and Denise K. James were among the first to drive over it. The Bowman Overpass allows better traffic flow since drivers can now avoid the intersection of Johnnie Dodds and Bowman. This overpass is just a small portion of the improvements to Mount Pleasant’s roads, but if you’ve ever been to the Bowman intersection at rush hour, you understand its importance.
