Established in 1993 by Dr. Mary Anne Larkin, Advanced Hearing Care is the oldest audiology practice in Mount Pleasant. Dr. Larkin pointed out that using hearing devices is only part of a responsible solution.

Dr. Larkin and her associate, Dr. Casey Adkins, provide their patients with a hearing care program that includes a comprehensive hearing evaluation; an individualized treatment plan; hearing devices customized for each patient’s unique listening experiences; testing to determine if the patient’s hearing goals have been met; and strategies such as lip reading and enhanced listening skills.

Dr. Adkins earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Kentucky and her Doctor of Audiology degree at Purdue University.
