How did your business get started?
I love jewelry, and through my mother’s store, I saw an opportunity to add a jewelry and accessory line to Haven’s Furniture. A few months ago, I was able to add a candle line as well. After all, the store was named after me!
What is your most popular item?
I would say the most popular items are definitely my fun earrings — especially during the holidays— I carry festive and fun jewelry to match each holiday.
What is the most rewarding part of your business?
I have been able to learn so much about running a business. It has been priceless to be able to learn at such a young age what it takes to run a successful business.
You were so young when your business started. What are some challenges that you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest challenge for me is being able to properly manage my time between school, sports, extracurriculars and making sure I am also on top of my jewelry business.
Entrepreneurship obviously runs in the family. How has watching your mom run her business inspired you to do the same?
My mom has truly been an inspiration to me in so many ways. I see day after day, how hard work and a lot of dedication can pay off.
